For The Good Of The Game

Anytime a team can use its stature or fan base for good is a job well done in my book. Throughout my tour of Ohio and its baseball teams I saw many “Glove Drives”. In exchange for a new or gently used glove or a minimum of a $20 cash donation the Cleveland Indians and Key Bank gave fans one ticket to the August 28th game vs the Kansas City Royals and one voucher for an exclusive post-game autograph event featuring Cleveland Indians Players. Drives like this cost a team very little but make all the difference in the world for community members that can’t afford simple baseball necessities like a glove. Well done Key Bank and Cleveland Indians.
