Early Bird Tours

When I’m in a new city I like to tour ballpark facilities. I often find it frustrating if tours are not available because it’s a game day. I’ve never understood why teams weren’t incorporating game day tours into pregame festivities. The Houston Astros are now doing just that with its “Early Bird Tours”. According to the Astros’ website Early Bird Tours begin one hour prior to doors opening for every evening game. Those on the tour must have a ticket to the game. The tours are limited to the first 75 fans and will allow fans to watch batting practice from the Diamond Club seats. In addition to the Early Bird Tour the Astros also offer four other varieties of tours that can be read about here.
