Mmmmm... Samples

Costco is a most wonderful store. I could list 100 reasons why I love Costco and maybe I will in some future blog. Today, however, I’m just going to talk about one, samples. Costco is known for giving out boatloads of samples. My local Costco in Eugene, OR is pretty good but every time I go visit my grandparents in NJ and hit up their local Costco in Mount Laurel, I leave the store stuffed. More often than not I buy something I sampled as well. Sampling is an underrated marketing technique in my book. I’d be willing to bet good money that sampled concessions at an event venue would lead to increased sales. If you read this blog post and try it out at your venue, drop a note with your results!
