Slamming Recycling Center

The Portland Trail Blazers and Pacific Power have teamed up to make really simple, yet fun and effective recycling stations on the concourse of the Rose Garden.  Wall stickers were printed in the shape of basketball hoops, labeled with the type of trash or recycling that belonged in the receptacle below and placed on the wall above the containers. This effort to “go green” was readily noticed by many fans in attendance and enjoyed by many a kid who wanted to slam his/her soda bottle in the “hoop”.
