Celebrity Participation

In game contest and events are great fun. More often than not they are contested with randomly selected fans from the arena. Fan participation is good because it creates a sense of possibility and kinship amongst the fans. However, if there is an occasion or evening when celebrity participants can compete in a game, I highly recommend it. An example of this occurred Tuesday night at the Washington Capitals game. During intermission Redskins tight ends, Chris Cooley and Fred Davis competed in the on ice Tricycle Race. The fans loved the opportunity to see some of their favorite football players and the guys seemed to genuinely enjoy the opportunity to ham it up. As you’ll see they had trouble leaving behind their tackling football roots. To see the video click here.
