The Noise Machine

One of the simplest, yet best received gimmicks the UO has used over the last few years is the Duck’s “Noise Machine”. Ducky/Puddles/The Duck aka the Oregon Duck Mascot wheels out a green 50+ gallon trash can with large yellow letters on it that say “Noise Machine”. The Duck then bates the audience by slowly opening and closing the lid while motioning for the crowd to make correspondingly more or less noise. The end always results in the Duck flipping the lid completely over to the shrieking delight of the fans in attendance. Below is a video that shows said shrieking.
