Dr. Pepper's Throw for Scholarship Dough

Anyone that watched the SEC Championship football game saw the Dr. Pepper Throw for Scholarship Dough. They also saw Sarah Beth Hill representing Alabama University beat Daniel Margil of the University of Florida. I’m certain Daniel is going to take a lot of ribbing for losing to a woman who had never thrown a football until a few weeks ago. In the game the two contestants had 45 seconds to throw ten footballs through a large Dr. Pepper can target. Hill completed 9/10 throws and Margil completed 8/10. For her victory Hill takes home $123,000 for tuition and Margil gets $23,000. Hill and Margil were chosen to participate in Dr. Pepper's Throw for Scholarship Dough competition by submitting a Dr. Pepper bottle cap code to Dr. Pepper's website. Dr. Pepper also sponsored similar games in the ACC and Big XII 2009 Championship games. For more information on this Dr. Pepper promotion, check out it's website here.
